The Incorporation
The Incorporation is an operational arm of the Trust. Its role includes responsibility for the activities below. It was established in 2014 and has three appointees - click on the button at the bottom of the page to see who they are.
Manage activities on MAB land
We have responsibility for managing activities on MAB land, including the Pureora Timber Trail, the Pureora Cabins, grazing contract on Waimiha Kei Runga, replanting on Pureora North Block and general maintenance of our whenua.


Pureora Village
We have two key responsibilities in respect of the Village. Firstly, we are responsible for actively seeking the return of Pureora Village through the Right of First Refusal mechanism in the Settlement. Secondly, we are charged with developing the plans for maintaining and revitalising Pureora Village.
Opportunities
We seek opportunities to obtain funding for us to take care of our whenua and wai. We also explore potential opportunities to make MAB a sustainable operation and to provide benefits back to our people.


DoC Relationships
The Incorporation manages the relationship with the Department of Conservation at an operational, day-to-day level.
Pureora Cabins
Maraeroa A and B Incorporation manage the 7 cabins consisting of 3 x 2 berth, 3 x 6 berth and 1 x 7 berth. Each cabin has the basic full kitchen facilities and shared ablution block. All you need to bring is your kai, bedding necessities and personal gears.
