Complete the review and amendment of the Trust Deed and the Incorporation’s constitution
Enhance the working relationship between the Trust and the Incorporation
Develop and implement a trustee skill development plan
Review of trustee roles and responsibilities and complete a trustee succession plan
Regularly review plans, policies and systems

Secure the land and understand its potential
By 2020, ensure all our land has been secured under the kaitiakitanga of the Trust

Develop networks and partnerships with key stakeholders
Ensure the ETS obligations in respect of the Eco-Corridor will be met
Develop a relationship management strategy
Develop and implement an annual stakeholder engagement plan with 1-2 key stakeholders each year

Review current business activities
Review the current investment regime to improve returns
Complete and implement an investment charter or SIPO
Complete a land audit and utilisation project
Complete scoping of current potential business ideas, including Pureora Village tourism, metal quarry, beehives and manuka plantation, tree harvesting
Wherever possible, secure external funding for Trust research, development activities

Enhance the connection of whānau to whānau and whānau to whenua
Establish a Kaumātua roopu
Develop and implement a plan to revitalise descendant’s knowledge of Maraeroa A & B whānau and whenua
Consider and scope the concept of a "whare for the people" and how the Trust can deliver this
Update and maintain registered owner details
